Every bag we sell is single-origin — traced to a specific farm, harvest date, and even a named field. We use traditional cold-stone milling that preserves the bran layer, natural oils, and full flavour. Supermarket rice is typically blended from dozens of anonymous sources and polished with talc or glucose. Ours isn't.
Our partner farms follow integrated pest-management practices that dramatically reduce chemical inputs. While not all varieties carry a certified organic label yet, every batch is tested for pesticide residues before dispatch and must meet our zero-tolerance standard. Our goal is full organic certification by 2026.
We source an ever-growing range including aged Basmati from the Himalayan foothills, Sona Masoori from Andhra, Red Matta from Kerala, Gobindobhog from West Bengal, and heritage Black Rice from Manipur. New harvests are added seasonally — subscribe to our newsletter to get first access.
We dispatch all in-stock orders within 1–2 business days of payment. You'll receive a tracking link via email as soon as your parcel is handed to our courier partner. Most metro cities receive deliveries within 3–5 business days; remote pin codes may take 5–8 days.
We ship to over 25,000 pin codes across India. Enter your pin code at checkout to confirm serviceability instantly. For a small number of remote pin codes in the North-East and island territories, transit times may be longer but we always try to fulfil.
There is no minimum order value. However, orders above ₹999 enjoy free standard shipping. Below that, a flat shipping fee of ₹79 applies. Bulk orders above ₹4,999 are eligible for additional discounts — reach out to us directly.
We mill in small batches and typically dispatch within 3–14 days of milling. Each bag is printed with the milling date so you always know exactly how fresh your rice is. For aged varieties like Basmati, this refers to the most recent milling of the properly aged grain.
Store rice in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage (3+ months) consider the refrigerator. Our resealable kraft bags provide good short-term protection but we recommend transferring to a glass or stainless steel container for pantry storage.
